Supported Independent Living
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is an opportunity for those with disability to share a home and grow together.
Many people with disability will have access to NDIS funding to support and promote their independence, such as board in a shared house environment.
SIL comes with many support services, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in order to help each person reach their goals of independence in their own homes and enjoy a connection to the broader community.
We provide spaces for people wanting to share a home with housemates who share similar life stages, interests and disability support needs. Find peace of mind knowing you, or your loved one, is surrounded by like-minded people with whom they can share housekeeping, meals and everyday experiences.
Our SIL homes:
Are custom modified to create adaptive living spaces, even for those with severe impairments or who have high support needs
Create warm, open environments that encourage social interaction and the building of lifelong friendships
Encourage the building of life skills. Our SIL housemates build confidence through the achievement of a sense of responsibility — all in a safe, supportive environment.
